Veneers
Thin custom-made facings bonded to the front of a tooth to change its shape, size, alignment or colour. Veneers usually involve permanent alteration of the tooth surface.
Crowns and bridges
Crowns cover and protect a damaged or heavily restored tooth, while a bridge replaces a missing tooth using the teeth on either side for support. Our in-house milling machine and furnace allow certain crowns to be fabricated on site.
Smile makeovers
A planned combination of treatments to address several concerns together, worked through step by step so you understand the sequence, the timeframe and the cost before you begin.
How We Plan Cosmetic Treatment
Cosmetic treatment starts with a conversation about what you would like to change and why. We then examine your teeth, gums, bite and facial proportions, because a change to one tooth affects those around it.
We use digital scanning, OPG imaging and RayFace facial scanning to plan cases carefully. Planning digitally means we can show you what we are considering and talk it through before any treatment begins.
Where healthy tooth structure is at stake, we will tell you plainly. Sometimes the most conservative option delivers a result you are happy with, and we would rather explain that than recommend more treatment than you need.
Honest Advice About Outcomes
Cosmetic results depend on your starting point, the condition of your teeth and gums, your bite and how you care for your teeth afterwards. Outcomes vary from person to person, and no treatment lasts indefinitely.
We will explain the risks, the maintenance involved and the realistic lifespan of the work before you commit, so there are no surprises later. If we do not think a treatment will achieve what you are hoping for, we will say so.
Function First
A cosmetic result that does not function well will not last. That is why every cosmetic plan at our practice considers your bite, jaw and gum health first. Where there is untreated decay, gum disease or a bite problem, this is addressed before cosmetic work begins.
